The ERICHSEN Model 288 and 360 Film Applicator Systems introduce an innovative solution for applying precise coating layers across a variety of industries. Both models are equipped with doctor blades featuring fixed gap heights, ranging from 15 to 2000 μm, ensuring versatile application capabilities. The Model 288 comes with two applicator edges, while the Model 360 offers four, enabling the application of multiple theoretical layer thicknesses with a single device. Engineered for durability, these blades boast corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-term use in challenging conditions.

Each unit is accompanied by a manufacturer’s test certificate M according to DIN 55 350-18, detailing critical performance metrics such as gap heights (nominal/actual comparison), flatness and roughness of the film applicator edge, and roughness. This certification ensures that each film applicator system meets stringent quality and performance standards.
