This innovative setup allows for a comprehensive test of material durability under prescribed impact forces, squeezing the metal into a conical shape to assess bending radius and coating failure points.

Comprehensive Testing Procedure

The coated sheet metal panel, measuring 50 x 140 mm, is bent 180° over the mandrel with the coating outside. After positioning the panel on the anvil and releasing the impact tool, the device simulates extreme bending stress.
