Comprehensive Moisture Management Testing

SDL Atlas presents the MMT® (Moisture Management Tester), a state-of-the-art instrument designed to accurately assess the liquid management properties of both performance and technical textiles. Utilizing a 2-minute test, the MMT® generates a detailed profile of fabric performance. This includes data on Overall Moisture Management Capacity, Accumulative One-Way Transport Capability, Wetting Time, Absorption Rate, Max Wetted Radius, and Spreading Speed for the top and bottom surfaces of fabrics.

User-Friendly and Reliable

Designed with the end-user in mind, the MMT® offers an easy-to-use interface where fabrics are tested horizontally between upper and lower sensors. Automatic positioning of the upper sensor and a protective translucent draft shield ensure both convenience and reliability. Operators can select between the Original Sensor for standard moisture movement measurements or the Directional Sensor for detailed analysis over eight directions.

Versatility and High-Tech Features

The MMT® adapts to a variety of textile testing needs. With an open cabinet design for easy sample access and removable sensors for maintenance, the instrument stands out for its user-friendliness. Accurate positioning is guaranteed by a center lamp, and real-time result analysis is facilitated through international grading tables. For stretch fabric analysis, an optional Stretch Fabric Fixture is available to simulate real-life conditions.
