VIBROSKOP 500 - Single Fiber Titer is a standardized laboratory instrument for precise determination of titer (linear mass, linear density) in dtex or denier of single staple fibers. Most often used in combination with Vibrodyn 500 and Vibrotex 400, this instrument is standardized according to BISFA, ASTM D1577, and DIN 53812.

Advanced Test Method

A pre-tensioned fiber is set into its natural vibration at constant length by an electronic delta impulse. The titer is derived from the fiber’s vibration frequency and automatically calculated, accounting for the applied pre-tension weight.
