The Atlas Ci4400 Weather-Ometer® is the most advanced xenon arc weathering instrument providing easy and effortless operation while delivering unparalleled value and performance of weather durability testing. For over 100 years, Atlas instruments have advanced the science of weather durability testing, and the Ci4400 represents the latest evolution in this technology.
Superior Design and Performance
The Ci4400 combines Atlas’ latest industry-leading innovative technology with user convenience and the scientific sophistication of 100 years of weathering expertise. Design and engineering innovations in the airflow, irradiance and control systems have dramatically reduced variability in critical test parameters, achieving new levels of temperature, humidity and light exposure uniformity.
Enhanced Features and Capabilities
This water-cooled, rotating-rack instrument offers best-in-class uniform distribution of irradiance, temperature, and humidity within the entire exposure area. The Ci4400 provides a 10% increase in specimen capacity within the same footprint as the previous Ci4000 model, featuring a larger, more intuitive touch screen user interface and more efficient air flow for better tier-to-tier and within-tier uniformity.
Advanced Control Systems
The instrument is equipped with the latest in Atlas’ controlled irradiance technology allowing for greater precision and repeatability in weathering testing. The Ci4400 uses interchangeable glass filters that tailor the xenon light spectrum to match light conditions in your products’ end use environment. It meets or exceeds all common weathering test standards including ASTM, ISO, and SAE specifications.
