The Memmert Blanket Warmer IFbw is a Class I medical device for warming non-sterile blankets and cloths. Blanket warmers are vital when attending to seriously injured patients - especially in emergency rooms, as well as in delivery rooms and recovery rooms, where they are useful on a daily basis. In the IFbw, blankets and cloths are preheated to a precise temperature, keeping patients warm and minimising the risk of complications such as wound infections, cardiovascular disorders, cardiac arrhythmia and vascular disorders.

Precise, Homogenous Warming

With a temperature range up to +80 °C and forced air circulation fixed at 100%, the IFbw delivers precise and homogenous temperature control across the whole chamber. The heating concept is specifically adapted to keep textiles evenly and gently warmed and ready to hand at all times.

Outstanding Safety

Patient and load safety are central to the IFbw design. The heating capacity is limited to 80 °C to prevent cotton textiles from overheating if the warmer is overloaded. Three platinum sensors monitor the surface temperatures inside the hermetically sealed, constantly circulated interior, an automatic open-door sensor switches the heater and fan off whenever the door is opened, and a mechanical temperature limiter interrupts the power supply at a maximum of 85 °C.

Intuitive Operation and Documentation

Touch, turn and go: the IFbw is operated through the unique Memmert ControlCOCKPIT with AtmoCONTROL software. A wide range of options for reading the data logging - via interfaces and the integrated data logger - makes monitoring and documentation straightforward.

Built to Last

The working chamber and housing are made almost exclusively from high-quality, corrosion-resistant and easily cleanable stainless steel that is scratch-resistant, hygienic and robust. The IFbw is CE and UL marked and backed by a 3-year worldwide guarantee.

Four Sizes

The IFbw is available in four sizes - IF110bw (108 litres), IF260bw (256 litres), IF450bw (449 litres) and IF750bw (749 litres) - so capacity can be matched to everything from a compact treatment room to a busy emergency department.
