High-End Incubation for Cell, Bacteria and Tissue Cultures

The Memmert CO2 Incubator ICOmed is designed for the demanding incubation of cell cultures, bacteria cultures and tissue cultures. It delivers precise and homogeneous temperature control with rapid setpoint achievement and no temperature overshoots, supported by turbulence-free chamber ventilation for a uniform atmosphere throughout the interior.

Reliable CO2 and Optional O2 Control

A digital electronic CO2 control with a dual-beam NDIR system, auto-diagnostics and barometric pressure compensation regulates CO2 across a 0 to 20 % range. The ICOmed also offers an O2 adjustment range of 1 to 20 % O2, enabling reduced-oxygen culture conditions for sensitive applications.

Hygienic Design and Sterilisation

The seamlessly welded, electropolished stainless steel chamber features rounded interior edges for easy cleaning. A standard sterilisation programme runs for 60 minutes at 180 °C without removing the sensors, helping to maintain a contamination-free environment.

Intuitive Control and Connectivity

The ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY uses an adaptive multifunctional PID microprocessor controller with two high-definition TFT colour displays. AtmoCONTROL software enables programming, management and transfer of programmes via USB and Ethernet, with FDA-compliant logging of temperature, CO2, O2, humidity and door-open time, plus visual, acoustic and mobile-phone alarm notifications.
