The Memmert CO2 Incubator ICO (Next Generation) is designed to provide stable, homogeneous cultivation conditions for delicate cell cultures in research, development and clinical applications. Precise temperature control, active humidification and dehumidification, plus optimised airflow management, ensure condensation-free stability inside the working chamber at 37 °C and 95 % rh.

Precise Temperature and CO2 Control

The ICO holds working temperatures from 5 °C above ambient up to +50 °C with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C, while a dual-beam CO2 sensor regulates CO2 from 0 to 20 % at +/- 0.2 % accuracy. Optional O2 control (1 to 20 %) extends the incubator to hypoxic and anaerobic workflows.

Hygiene and Sterilisation

The corrosion-resistant stainless steel inner chamber can be sterilised with a standard 60-minute program at 180 °C without removing the sensors, and an integrated HEPA filter helps keep the chamber clean between cultures.

Reliable Control and Connectivity

Thanks to the battery-buffered Control COCKPIT, the operating display, data logging and CO2 control remain fully functional even during a power failure. USB and Ethernet connections, a data logger with ten-year storage capacity, plus visual and acoustic alarms keep your cultures protected and your data accessible.
