Constant Climate Chamber HPPeco - Memmert

Product Description

The Constant Climate Chamber HPPeco from Memmert is a reach-in chamber for combined temperature and humidity control. It is used for ICH-compliant stability studies, cosmetics and food stability testing, environmental testing and material testing. The chamber uses Peltier technology rather than a compressor for both cooling and heating.

Temperature and Humidity

The HPPeco controls temperature from 0 to +70 °C without humidity and from +5 to +70 °C with active humidity control. Relative humidity is regulated from 10 to 90 % RH by active humidification and dehumidification, with water supplied from an external tank through a self-priming pump.

Peltier Cooling and Heating

Instead of a compressor and refrigerant, the HPPeco uses Memmert Peltier elements for both cooling and heating. The Peltier concept transfers heat electrically, which lowers energy consumption relative to compressor-cooled chambers and removes the need for refrigerant.

Construction

The interior is stainless steel (W.-St. 1.4301 / ASTM 304) and the casing is stainless steel. The insulated door has an inner glass door; the larger HPP1400eco and HPP2200eco use stainless steel doors with glass sectors. The chambers are CE, GS and UL marked.

Controller and Software

The chamber is operated through the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY, a digital PID microprocessor controller with a TFT colour display. Temperature and humidity ramps are programmed and logged with the AtmoCONTROL software.

Options

Available options include the P1 function package, a dimmable LED light module in cold white (6,500 K) or warm white (2,700 K) for germination and breeding applications, and the C9 compressed-air drying option for loads that release moisture.

Sizes

The HPPeco range comprises seven volumes, from the 108-litre HPP110eco to the 2140-litre HPP2200eco, covering different sample quantities and chamber dimensions.
