Compressor-cooled Incubator ICP

Product Description

The Memmert Compressor-cooled Incubator ICP is designed to incubate, dry and store samples, and it excels whenever a rapid and precise changeover between heating and cooling phases in ramp operation is required. Its finely tuned control technology brings the chamber to the setpoint exactly, without the energy-intensive bursts of power needed by less refined systems.

The ICP combines powerful compressor cooling with an air jacket temperature control system that seals the working chamber off from the outside. The result is rapid, precise temperature control across a range of -12 °C up to +60 °C, with no evaporator-related drying out of samples, no icing of the cooling unit and no de-humidification of the inner chamber.

Four model sizes cover interior volumes from 108 to 749 litres (ICP110, ICP260, ICP450 and ICP750), so the incubator can be matched to the workload of a given laboratory. The working chamber and housing are made almost exclusively from high-quality, corrosion-resistant and easily cleanable stainless steel, and double interior glass doors come as standard on every model to prevent contamination and temperature drops while keeping the load in view.

Operation is handled through the intuitive Memmert ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY and AtmoCONTROL software, which lets you programme temperature ramps and document runs via the integrated data logger and interfaces. An intelligent defrosting function, electronic temperature monitoring, a mechanical temperature limiter and an integrated auto-diagnostic system protect both users and chamber loads, all backed by a 3-year worldwide guarantee.

Typical applications include incubation, breeding and storage tasks in biology, zoology, pharmaceutics and the food industry where controlled cooling and heating are required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature range does the Compressor-cooled Incubator ICP cover?
The ICP operates from -12 °C up to +60 °C, allowing incubation both above and below ambient temperature. Thanks to finely tuned control technology, temperatures reach the setpoint precisely without energy-intensive bursts of power.
What model sizes is the ICP available in?
The ICP is offered in four model sizes: ICP110 (108 litres), ICP260 (256 litres), ICP450 (449 litres) and ICP750 (749 litres), so it can be matched to your sample throughput.
How is the ICP cooled?
It uses compressor cooling combined with an air jacket temperature control system that seals the working chamber from the outside. This gives rapid, precise temperature control with no evaporator-related drying out of samples, no icing of the cooling unit and no de-humidification of the chamber.
Which controller does the ICP use?
The ICP is controlled via the Memmert ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY and AtmoCONTROL software, which allows temperature ramps to be programmed and supports documentation through the integrated data logger and interfaces.
What is the ICP typically used for?
It is well suited to ramp operation with rapid temperature changes during incubation, breeding and storage, and is used in biology, zoology, pharmaceutics and the food industry.
Why does the ICP have double doors?
All ICP models have double doors as standard, with wide-area interior glass doors. These help prevent contamination and temperature drops while still giving an optimum view of the sensitive load.
