The Medical Warming Cabinet IM (Incubator IM) from Memmert is a warming cabinet for temperature control of rinsing solutions, infusion solutions and contrast media. It is classified as a Class I medical device under EU Regulation 2017/745 (MDR).
The temperature can be set up to +80 °C. The control technology limits temperature overshoot during heating, so fluids reach the set temperature without exceeding it. The IM is available with natural convection; the IMf version adds a fan for forced air circulation. The air exchange rate and air flap position are electronically controllable.
The interior and exterior are stainless steel. A double door, with an inner glass door and an outer stainless steel door, allows the contents to be checked without opening the chamber.
The range covers eight chamber sizes from 32 L (IM30) to 749 L (IM750): 32, 53, 74, 108, 161, 256, 449 and 749 L. Each size is available with SingleDISPLAY or TwinDISPLAY control. SingleDISPLAY controls temperature through the ControlCOCKPIT; TwinDISPLAY adds programmable temperature ramps and programs, configurable with the AtmoCONTROL software.
Monitoring and safety functions include an electronic temperature monitoring system, a mechanical temperature limiter and an integrated auto-diagnostic system.
Used in hospitals and clinical settings to warm infusion fluids, rinsing solutions and contrast media to a defined temperature before administration.
