The Memmert Universal Oven m360 UNplus / UFplus is a heating and drying oven from the m360 touch-generation plus series, used for drying, heating, ageing, burn-in and hardening. The setting temperature range is +20 C to +300 C, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 C up to 99.9 C and 0.5 C above 100 C. Chamber temperature is measured by two Pt100 DIN Class A sensors in a 4-wire circuit that monitor each other.
Natural Convection (UNplus) and Forced Air (UFplus)
The series is supplied in two convection types. UNplus models heat by natural (gravity) convection, where the working range begins at least 5 C above ambient temperature. UFplus models add forced air circulation for faster heat-up and more even temperature distribution, with a working range beginning 10 C above ambient. On both types the air exchange rate and air flap position are electronically controllable, and temperature and air-exchange ramps can be programmed.
Model Sizes
The plus series covers 256 L (UN250plus / UF250plus), 384 L (UN400plus / UF400plus), 600 L (UF600plus), 1550 L (UF1550plus) and 2554 L (UF2500plus). The larger 600 to 2554 L sizes are offered in the forced-air UFplus configuration. As an example, the UF400plus / UN400plus has interior dimensions of 640 x 1200 x 500 mm, a maximum load of 300 kg and 20 kg per shelf.
Controller and Software
The ovens use an adaptive multifunctional digital PID microprocessor controller with two high-definition TFT colour displays (TwinDISPLAY) and the AtmoCOCKPIT interface. Ethernet and USB ports connect to Memmert’s AtmoCONTROL software for programming, monitoring and documentation, and stored programs are retained during a power loss. The display supports German, English, Spanish, French, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Italian and Chinese.
Construction and Safety
The working chamber is corrosion-resistant stainless steel, reinforced by deep-drawn ribbing with large-area heating on four sides, inside a stainless steel housing. Safety equipment includes a mechanical temperature limiter (TB, DIN 12880), an overtemperature monitor (TWW or adjustable TWB) and AutoSAFETY with preset tolerance monitoring. Each oven ships with a works calibration certificate at +160 C. The m360 UNplus / UFplus is part of Memmert’s customisable m360 programme.
