SW3700 Vibration Test System - RMS

Product Description

The SW3700 from RMS is an air-cooled electrodynamic vibration test system designed for testing small test objects with a comparatively high deflection of up to 52 mm. It delivers up to 7.5 kN of sine/noise force and up to 15 kN of shock force, with velocities of up to 3 m/s vertically and 2 m/s horizontally.

Both the vibration system and its amplifiers are completely air-cooled, so the SW3700 can be integrated and installed without water-cooling infrastructure. A wear-free return spring system removes the need for rollers or roller-like accessories, keeping maintenance low while maintaining high transverse rigidity despite the large displacement capacity.

The SW3700 series has been in use for 40 years and is continuously developed, making it a proven, easily transportable platform for demanding dynamic testing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What force levels can the SW3700 deliver?
The SW3700 provides up to 7.5 kN of sine/noise force and up to 15 kN of shock force, making it well suited to vibration and shock testing of small to medium test objects.
How much displacement and velocity does the SW3700 offer?
The system offers a comparatively high displacement of up to 51 mm vertically (36 mm horizontally), a 52 mm peak-to-peak stroke, and velocities of up to 3 m/s vertically and 2 m/s horizontally.
How is the SW3700 cooled?
Both the vibration system and its associated amplifiers are completely air-cooled, which simplifies integration and installation since no water cooling infrastructure is required.
What makes the SW3700's return spring system maintenance-friendly?
The SW3700 uses a wear-free return spring system that does not require rollers or roller-like accessories, helping to reduce wear and maintenance while maintaining high transverse rigidity even at large displacement.
What applications is the SW3700 designed for?
The SW3700 is ideal for testing small test objects with high deflection and is used for engine test benches, resonance determination, and aging and strength testing. The series has been in use for 40 years and is continuously developed.
