Product Description

The SW8100 from RMS is a water-cooled, medium-force electrodynamic vibration test system delivering up to 28 kN sine / random force and up to 45 kN shock force. It is built around an extremely compact, low-height design with a stiff yet lightweight armature structure, allowing very high velocities at low lateral acceleration across a wide useful frequency range of 5 to 2700 Hz in sine, random and shock mode.

The shaker is mounted in a rigid swivel frame so it can operate in both vertical and horizontal configurations, making it flexible for different test specimens and laboratory layouts. It is well suited to resonance determination, premature aging and fatigue testing.
