Product Description
OptoGUI is the measurement, analysis and remote-control software for Optomet single-point laser Doppler vibrometers. Together with the vibrometer it forms a measurement system with a continuous digital signal path, in which the software configures the instrument, acquires the data and handles display, evaluation and export.
The software reads and sets all vibrometer parameters and can operate the instrument remotely once it is set up; additional components such as a signal generator can optionally be controlled as well. Measurement data is received over a Gigabit Ethernet connection with up to 32-bit resolution. OptoGUI displays displacement, velocity and acceleration as a function of time and frequency, and measurements can be triggered either on recorded data or on an external signal.
For evaluation, the software provides cursor and zoom functions. The FFT frequency display shows spectra of up to 536 million lines, with automatic detection and quantification of resonances, and a spectrogram displays how the frequency content changes over time. Measurements can be saved in standard file formats as text or binary data and as audio files (.wav). The formats are documented and open, so data can be processed in external programs such as MATLAB or modal analysis tools, and an analog signal output is available in parallel with the digital transmission.
OptoGUI is platform-independent and runs on standard PC hardware without a dedicated installation or special drivers. Projects store all settings so a measurement can be reopened and analysed later. It is used with Optomet CLASSIC Series single-point vibrometers for vibration measurement, analysis and remote operation.
