Product Description
The Optomet SMART DAQ is a data acquisition and signal generation system that combines three formerly separate instruments in one compact unit: a data acquisition (DAQ) box, an oscilloscope and an arbitrary signal generator. It records signals on up to 16 channels and is part of the Optomet SMART Series, with which it synchronises for vibration measurement and analysis.
The unit provides 12 analog input channels (Lemo connectors, +/-1 V or +/-10 V) and 4 high-frequency input channels (BNC, up to 50 MHz), and accepts temperature, force, acceleration and pressure sensors with support for both IEPE and non-IEPE types. Analog inputs are digitised at 24-bit resolution and up to 1.5 MSPS, while the high-frequency inputs sample at 312.5 MSPS with 14-bit resolution. Eight analog output channels (BNC, +/-2 V) form an arbitrary signal generator that produces sine, sine sweep, rectangle, random and user-defined waveforms. The frequency bandwidth spans DC to 50 MHz.
The SMART DAQ is operated from a 7-inch Full HD+ touchscreen or through the SMART Lab software, which controls all settings over a single Ethernet connection and performs real-time FFT, frequency response function (FRF) calculation and live spectrogram display. Connectivity includes 10 Gigabit Ethernet for data streaming, 1 Gigabit Ethernet for device control, USB Type-A and Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, fiber-optic and copper synchronisation ports, optional 10 MHz clock and PPS I/O, and a GNSS antenna connector. Measurement data can be exported in .csv, .h5, .mat and .wav formats.
Used in research, development and test environments that require multi-channel, synchronised data acquisition, the SMART DAQ can be combined with Optomet SMART laser Doppler vibrometers and other SMART devices for reference and 3D measurements.
