Product Description
The Optomet SMART Scan+ is a scanning laser Doppler vibrometer that brings a complete vibration laboratory into a single compact device. It integrates a scanning laser Doppler vibrometer, a data acquisition box and an arbitrary signal generator, enabling researchers and developers to measure vibrations not just at a single point but across an entire surface with high precision.
Using the Doppler principle, the SMART Scan+ automatically scans a defined grid of measurement points and captures velocity, displacement and acceleration at each one, entirely without contact. The result is full-field analysis that visualises operational deflection shapes, wave propagation and eigenmodes for applications such as FEM model validation, vibration characterisation and modal parameter determination.
The instrument covers a frequency bandwidth from DC to 50 MHz and velocities up to 50 m/s, with a measurement (SWIR) laser at 1550 nm and a visible target laser for alignment. A 7-inch Full HD+ touchscreen, intuitive SMART Lab software and extensive connectivity make configuration and analysis straightforward, while the modular SMART Series architecture lets the system synchronise with other SMART devices and expand toward 3D scanning measurements.
